Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is necessary.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• 2-4 years experience in Facility Management and Athletics Event Management is necessary.
• Ability to lift 50lbs is necessary.
• Forklift and OSHA scissor lift certification is necessary, or the ability to become certified within 30 days of employment.
• Analytical, evaluative, and critical thinking skills are preferred.
• Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of assigned facilities.
• Coordinate logistics with VUMO, campus groups and other departments within Vanderbilt Athletics.
• Assist with scheduling practice times and facility usage.
• Plan and execute general facility operations tasks including access control, fleet management, and AED program management.
• Manage budgets, track requests, and ensure quality in projects and services.
