Job summary

Vanderbilt University is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to oversee daily operations, maintenance, and space management for science and research facilities in the College of Arts and Science. This role serves as the liaison with Vanderbilt Facilities, VEHS, Emergency Preparedness, and other partners to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient learning and research environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in facilities-related field or equivalent.
• 2–4 years in facilities operations or related environment.
• Experience with CMMS, Oracle, and Vanderbilt enterprise systems.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance, repair, renovation, and operational activities across facilities.
• Administer daily building operations: preventive maintenance, custodial, utilities, security, and vendor services.
• Collaborate with Planning, Design and Construction and partners throughout project development.
• Support space planning and improve space utilization and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
