Job summary

Portland State University Foundation seeks an Associate Director of Development, Athletics to manage a high-impact donor portfolio and advance Athletics priorities. You will cultivate and solicit gifts, collaborate with PSU partners, and represent the foundation at events to deepen donor engagement and support.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressively responsible fundraising experience, including proven success in securing gifts of $25K+.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant area, or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
• Technical fluency in fundraising systems and tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, CRM platforms; ability to leverage tech to improve productivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-impact portfolio of special and major gift donors and prospects.
• Qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward gifts while meeting fundraising goals.
• Collaborate across teams and with campus partners to advance Athletics priorities.
• Represent the foundation at events and support donor engagement strategies.
• Travel regionally as needed (approx. 15% or less).
