Salve Regina University is seeking a Development Officer focused on Athletics and Recreational Sports to deepen philanthropic support and secure resources for sport-specific initiatives and infrastructure. You will build a dynamic portfolio of alumni, parents, and community partners to drive gifts and programs that impact student-athlete success and campus wellness.

• Hold a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years' fundraising experience.
• Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with adaptability and a service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Foster a collaborative work environment rooted in Salve Regina's Mercy mission.
• Manage a portfolio of 150+ alumni, parents, and friends; conduct 125–135 visits annually.
• Collaborate with leadership to align funding goals with opportunities; develop engagement strategies.
• Launch initiatives like a Captain's Club to engage former captains and strengthen donor ties.
• Travel regularly to represent the university at donor and events; input activity into CRM.
