Job summary

The University of North Carolina Greensboro is seeking an Assistant Director for Compliance to support NCAA and Southern Conference athletics compliance. The role collaborates with the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance and Executive Associate Athletic Director to develop and maintain a comprehensive, transparent program.

Responsibilities include education for coaches, staff, and student-athletes, and handling NCAA reporting such as APR and GSR, waivers, and audits.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
Master’s degree with 1-2 years’ experience in NCAA Compliance at the Division I level is preferred.
Other relevant experience and education may be considered.

Responsibilities

Administering, educating, monitoring and enforcing institutional, Southern Conference and NCAA compliance policies and procedures for all intercollegiate athletic teams.
Assisting with development of a comprehensive educational compliance program for all institutional coaches, student-athletes, faculty and staff regarding NCAA and Southern Conference rules and regulations.
Researching and issuing interpretations of NCAA and Southern Conference rules and regulations for all seventeen sport coaches, as well as staff and boosters.
Conduct in-person/virtual compliance education sessions with student-athletes, staff and external constituencies as directed by the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance.
Maintaining and evaluating the compliance website and social media outlets.
