Job summary

Caltech Athletics is seeking a part-time Sports Information Assistant to support game coverage and communications for 16 intercollegiate programs. You will help publish game summaries, update the athletics website, and coordinate statistics and streaming across contests.

The role emphasizes collaboration with coaches and staff, adherence to NCAA Division III guidelines, and timely content delivery for promotional and historical purposes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher required for consideration.
• Experience in sports information, athletic communications, or game operations preferred.
• Familiarity with NCAA Division III rules and philosophy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer and database management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Publicize and celebrate Caltech student-athletes, coaches, and programs through game summaries and articles.
• Maintain and update department website content with timely information.
• Coordinate live statistics and video streaming for all sports.
• Assist in managing home game operations and event setup.
• Support marketing initiatives and outreach efforts.
