Job summary

Curry College seeks a part‑time Sports Information Assistant in Milton, MA. The role involves game coverage, publication of materials, website maintenance, and oversight of roster data and statistics for up to 28 hours per week over 10 months.

Responsibilities include webcasting support, post‑game stories, social media management, and coordination with opponents’ staff. The incumbent will post scores, manage video and graphics, and assist with student employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of experience in an intercollegiate athletic communications office.
• Availability for varying schedules including afternoons, evenings and weekends per game schedules.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat), BoxCast and/or HUDL Focus, Stat Crew, NCAA Live Stats and/or PrestoSports statistical software, and social media platforms; able to manage content updates for the athletics website.
• Service‑oriented and team‑focused.
• Independent, detail‑oriented, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while prioritizing multiple projects.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Publicize the athletics program and serve as primary contact for selected sports.
• Assist webcasting through BoxCast and HUDL Focus; prepare game programs.
• Publish content to the athletics website and manage social media presence.
• Write and edit post‑game stories, news releases and features.
• Set up live stats and streaming video for selected sports; coordinate roster and statistics exchanges with opponents.
• Support student employees and assist with graphic design/video projects.
