Job summary

Chadwick School seeks an Assistant Athletics Director of Sports Information & Media to lead the school’s athletics storytelling, digital presence, and information systems while also serving as an assistant within the Athletic Department.

The ideal candidate has strong expertise in digital media production, sports communication, and hands-on experience with photography, video editing, and social media management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferred emphasis in communications, media, sports information, or a related field.
• Preferred two years of social media/communications experience in a professional setting, ideally with an athletics program, school, or sports organization.
• Photography and videography skills preferred, with proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or comparable platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist with game day operations and oversight of athletic contests.
• Provide administrative support in the athletic department and work closely with coaches and staff.
• Set strategic direction for athletic social media accounts and coordinate with coaches and student leaders.
• Write game recaps and captions; contribute to feature stories and weekly athletics newsletter.
• Maintain athletics website content, rosters, and historical data across platforms.
