Job summary

Regis University is seeking student workers for its Athletics Communications team to assist with gameday statistics, photo/video operations, and livestream management. You will create social content, write game recaps, and help with office duties around evening and weekend events.

Ideal candidates are curious about journalism, broadcasting, and photography, with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn. Work-study eligibility and flexible hours around classes are available.

Qualifications

Must be a Regis University student with a valid work-study award.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Interest in journalism, social media, or broadcasting encouraged.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in poor weather conditions.
Experience with Adobe/Canva is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist the official statistician with gameday statistics by calling game action.
Operate official replay.
Live tweet updates from the RegisRangers account.
Run box scores and stats to teams and coaches.
Operate the live stream computer and cameras; on-air opportunities possible.
Capture in-game action with department cameras for website and social media.
Help staff collect and store equipment after games.
Support content creation in visuals and written formats.
