Job summary

Delval seeks a Student Worker in Sports Information to support game day operations, live broadcasts, statistics, writing, photography, and social media. You will contribute to MACTV and DVUSN broadcasts and help produce content for athletic sites.

The role is for currently enrolled Delaware Valley University students, with duties including interviews, photos, writing previews/recaps, and updating historical records. On-site work in Doylestown, PA is expected.

• Assist with public address announcements.
• Complete at least one office hour per week.

Job Summary: Sports Information Student workers assist with game day operations, live broadcasts, statistics, writing, photography, social media, and other media-related responsibilities while helping showcase Aggie Athletics. This position provides valuable real-world experience for students interested in sports communications, broadcasting, marketing, journalism, and athletic administration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Producing live game broadcasts, including camera operation, graphics, and play-by-play support
• Inputting and calling live statistics
• Public address announcing
• Play-by-play announcing and color commentary for livestreams on MACTV and DVUSN (please contact us directly if you are interested in becoming a play-by-play announcer)
• Conduct interviews with coaches and athletes
• Playing in-venue music during games
• Capturing live-action photography and producing photo galleries
• Writing game previews, recaps, and other website content
• Assisting with social media content creation
• Updating historical records and athletics record books
• Completing at least one office hour per week
• Other duties as assigned
• Currently enrolled Delaware Valley University student
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide required documentation to verify identity and employment eligibility
