Responsibilities

  • Reconcile JPM PaymentNet/Visa expenditures for athletics while adhering to policies.
  • Procure approved team, office, and facility supplies via Banner PO system.
  • Process payment requests for travel, meals, invoices, and entry fees.
  • Compile pay data and process payments for officials via RefQuest and Arbiter.
  • Prepare summary sheets and record deposit receipts on Revenue Tracker.
  • Track and update budget revenues and expenses.
  • Submit hotel credit card authorizations for team accommodations.
  • Track tax exemption certificates as needed.
  • Support in compiling EADA, NCAA demographics, census and other reports.
  • Greet prospective students and their parents when needed.

Athletics Business Operations Assistant

Position Purpose

The Business Operations Assistant is responsible for financial andbudget aspects of the athletic department utilizing web-basedfinancial systems, Word, Excel and Banner systems, includingsupport for the business manager in this role.

Job Duties
  • JPM PaymentNet/Visa reconciliation of credit card expendituresfor the athletics department while adhering to College anddepartmental financial policies.
  • Procure approved team, office and facility supplies, andequipment through the Banner purchase order system.
  • Process and handle all payment requests for athletic servicesincluding processing travel and meal invoices, subscriptions, entryfees, etc.
  • Compile pay data and process payments for sports official's viaRefQuest and Arbiter online platforms.
  • Prepare summary sheets and record deposit receipts on theRevenue Tracker.
  • Track and update budget revenues and expenses.
  • Complete and submit hotel credit card authorizations for teamaccommodations.
  • Track and update tax exemption certificates as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
Education

Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience preferred.

Experience

1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related fieldpreferred.

Hiring Range

The hiring range for this position is $17.85to $22.31. Placement within the range depends on experience andother factors.
