Job summary

Augusta University is seeking a Business Manager 1 for the Athletics department to oversee financial reporting, budgeting, contracts, and fund collection. This role supports the department’s fiscal health and compliance with NCAA, PBC, and USG guidelines.

Responsibilities include coordinating operating budgets, monitoring expenditures, processing grant-in-aid, and producing required financial reports. A bachelor’s degree and 2 years of admin experience are required; NCAA knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of admin/management experience.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules is preferred.
• Ability to understand financial statements and accounting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage annual athletic operating budget.
• Monitor revenue and expenditures of the athletic department.
• Coordinate collection of revenue and other money processed through athletics.
• Coordinate processing of athletic grant-in-aid.
• Prepare financial reports for NCAA, PBC, USG and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Athletic Director.
