Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health in Denver seeks an Orthopedic Sports Medicine supervisor to oversee daily clinical staff and coordinate staffing, training, and performance management in the Foot and Ankle department.

This onsite, full-time role requires a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), NATA certification, Colorado licensure, BLS, and at least one year of orthopedic clinic experience; salary is hourly and commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• NATA certification and Colorado Athletic Trainer licensure.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in an Orthopedic clinic; residency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels.
• Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff; conducts performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Assesses quality of services and facilitates staff development; ensures compliance with policies and protocols.
• Leads handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints; performs staff responsibilities to meet service levels.
