Florida National University, Inc. is seeking an Associate Athletic Trainer to develop and administer a comprehensive sports medical program for intercollegiate athletics.

The role includes injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and ongoing education for athletes in accordance with NATA standards. The position requires 45–55 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in athletic training required.
• NATA ATC certification required.
• 2–4 years progressive experience after NATA certification.
• Ability to work weekends/evenings and long hours.

Responsabilités

• Respond to daily communications via email/voicemail.
• Ensure compliance with Title IX, FERPA, GDPR, HIPAA and university policies.
• Coordinate with strength and conditioning staff to design safe programs.
• Maintain health records and injury documentation.
• Oversee athletic training room and equipment maintenance.
