Job summary

Florida National University in South Florida seeks an Associate Athletic Trainer to develop and administer a comprehensive sports medical program for intercollegiate teams. You will oversee prevention, recognition, treatment, rehabilitation of athletic injuries, and provide education for athletes and staff in line with NATA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in athletic training is required.
• NATA certification and CPR/AED required.
• Experience in athletic training in intercollegiate setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and supervise prevention, recognition, and treatment of athletic injuries.
• Coordinate rehabilitation and return-to-play processes with team physicians.
• Maintain medical documentation and records for athletes.
• Ensure compliance with NATA guidelines, HIPAA, FERPA, and Title IX.
