This on-campus role requires a Bachelor's degree and current NATA BOC certification, CPR/AED/First Aid, and eligibility for Idaho AT licensure. Responsibilities include supervising practice and competition, documenting injuries and rehabilitation, and coordinating care with the team physician and other providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from regionally accredited college
• Current NATA BOC Certification
• Current Adult CPR, AED, and First Aid certification
• Eligible for AT licensure in the State of Idaho

Responsibilities

• Supervise practice and game preparation, competition coverage, design and implement rehabilitation programs.
• Document injuries and rehabilitation for reports and evaluating recovery of athletes.
• Follow protocols to ensure prompt and appropriate responses when injuries occur.
• Provide teaching and direction to undergraduate and graduate athletic training students.
• Prepare reports and serve as a liaison for injured athletes with the team physician and other healthcare providers.
• Assist in the day-to-day operation of the athletic training room.
• Monitor the use of equipment and facilities to ensure proper use and athlete compliance with rules.
• Order or report needed repairs to keep the training facility operational.
• Complete training to become a P-card manager.
• Support recruitment and retention of students through direct and indirect activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer.
