Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from a regionally accredited college or university.
• NATA BOC Certification is required.
• Adult CPR, AED, and First Aid certification are required.
• Eligible for AT licensure in the State of Idaho.
• Preferred: Master's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Supervise practice and game preparation, competition coverage, and design rehabilitation programs.
• Document injuries and rehabilitation for reports and recovery evaluation.
• Follow protocols for prompt and appropriate injury responses.
• Provide teaching and direction to undergraduate and graduate athletic training students.
• Prepare reports and liaise with team physician and other healthcare providers.
• Assist in daily operation of the athletic training room.
• Monitor equipment and facilities usage and athlete compliance.
• Order or report repairs to keep training facilities operational.
• Complete training to become a P‑card manager.
• Support recruitment and retention of students; perform other duties as assigned by Head Athletic Trainer.
