Job summary

A higher education institution is seeking a full-time Assistant Athletic Trainer to support the health of intercollegiate student-athletes. The ideal candidate will assist the Director of Sports Medicine with healthcare provisions, insurance documentation, and game coverage. This role requires a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), BOC certification, and New York State Licensure. The successful applicant will also engage in essential communication with student-athletes and coaching staff, ensuring compliance with NCAA regulations.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have the ability to lift/move items up to 50 pounds.
• Current Professional Rescuer CPR/AED/First Aid certification is required.
• Ability to effectively communicate with student-athletes and coaches.

Responsibilities

• Provide practice and game coverage for all intercollegiate teams.
• Assist with monitoring and maintenance of the athletic training room.
• Report to the Director of Sports Medicine.
