Job summary

Roper St. Francis Healthcare is seeking an Athletic Trainer to provide clinical support within the Sports Medicine Program. You will work with supervising providers and therapists to assess injuries, apply braces, guide rehabilitation, and manage return-to-play plans.

The role requires NATA-BOC certification and a SC license. 2 years of preferred experience, EPIC EMR familiarity, and CME participation are valued. This is an on-site position with a supportive, patient-focused team.

Qualifications

• NATABOC Certified (required)
• Current Athletic Trainer license in the practicing state (SC) (required)
• BLS certification preferred or required within 30 days for RSFH

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support to patients and assist supervising providers or PTs.
• Deliver injury assessment, bracing, rehabilitation, and return-to-play training.
• Coordinate injury prevention programs for athletes and functional return to play.
• Assist in scheduling and documentation with care teams.
• Document injury treatments and plans of care in the EMR.
• Maintain ongoing professional development and CE opportunities.
