Job summary
Providence Central Point Medical Group-Central Point is seeking an Athletic Trainer for a full-time, day-shift role. The position involves providing athletic training coverage for sport teams, injury prevention, and immediate care, under supervision, with collaboration across Rehab Services and Sports Medicine.
The successful candidate will hold an Oregon Athletic Trainer License, BLS certification, and BOC certification, plus background check compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Health related field or equivalent education/experience.
- Oregon Athletic Trainer License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- BOC certification upon hire.
- DHS background check required for this position.
Responsibilities
- The Athletic Trainer provides athletic training coverage/support for sport team/school assignment as directed by the Clinical Supervisor for Rehab Services or Sports Medicine.
- Coordinates injury prevention, immediate assessment/evaluation, and treatment of injuries.
- Performs triage and collaborates in care planning and return-to-play decisions.
