Job summary

Rush Physical Therapy seeks a Certified Athletic Trainer to serve as the Oakton College running program coordinator (CARA) and athletic training lead, providing injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation for student-athletes at Oakton College.

The role also involves growing partnerships with the Chicago area running community and coordinating community running programs, sponsorships, and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree is required.
• NATA-BOC Board of Certification is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Applicable state license where required.
• Minimum of 2 years of athletic training experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement athletic training care for injured athletes.
• Provide on-site coverage to reduce injury risk and deliver rehabilitation.
• Coordinate ongoing outreach and events to promote the company and partnerships.
• Manage documentation of injuries and treatment progress.
• Support EMS and acute care procedures as needed.
