Select Medical's RUSH Physical Therapy team in Oakton College / CARA seeks a Certified Athletic Trainer - Running Program Coordinator based at 826 W Touhy Ave, Park Ridge, IL. This hybrid role combines hands-on athletic training with community outreach and program development.

You will provide injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and on-site sports medicine services for student-athletes, while also expanding partnerships with the Chicago area running community through

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training is required.
• NATA-BOC certification is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Applicable state license where required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement therapeutic programs for injured athletes.
• Administer AT techniques during games/practices to reduce injury risk.
• Assess effectiveness of rehabilitation techniques and document progress.
• Manage emergencies and coordinate EMS and acute care.
• Seek outreach opportunities and participate in events to promote the company.
