UK HealthCare Sports Medicine is seeking an Athletic Trainer Outreach to provide daily medical coverage, injury prevention, and return‑to‑play planning for university athletes. You will liaise with players, coaches, and healthcare professionals to safeguard health and performance across the athletics system.

The role emphasizes documentation, referrals, emergency planning, and event medical operations, with a focus on communication and teamwork in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training required; Master’s degree preferred.
• NATA BOC certification required.
• KBML licensure or eligibility at time of hire.
• Experience with collegiate athletes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage medical documentation and injury tracking.
• Coordinate with physicians and rehabilitation specialists for referrals.
• Assist with emergency planning and response protocols at facilities.
• Support event coverage and medical operations for teams and events.
