Job summary

Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute is seeking an Athletic Trainer to provide prevention, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries across West Coast Florida partnerships. You will work with a world-class team of physicians, coordinate patient care, educate patients and families, and contribute to performance improvement and safety initiatives.

A Master’s or Bachelor’s in athletic training with 3+ years of experience, current NATA BOC certification, Florida license,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in related field or Bachelor's in athletic training with 3+ years of experience.
• Preferred certifications: NASM-CES, NASM-PES, ISFTA-CPT, NSCA-CSCS, FMS, SFMA.
• Maintain current NATA BOC certification and Florida Athletic Trainer license.
• Maintain BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• Valid Florida driver's license and insurability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

• Coordinate patient care with team members and educate patients and families.
• Independently make decisions affecting health and quality of life of patients.
