Qualifications

• Ohio licensure as Athletic Trainer per State Board requirements.
• Board of Certification (BOC) Athletic Trainer Certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an Athletic Training program.

Responsibilities

• Oversee prevention, assessment, management, treatment, rehabilitation of athletic injuries and conditions.
• Order and review diagnostic studies under physician supervision.
• Take thorough patient histories including injuries and medical background.
• Perform physical examinations including ROM, strength, sensation, and functional testing.
• Provide rehabilitation education and gait training to patients.
