Job summary

Bryan Health seeks an experienced athletic trainer to provide comprehensive athletic training services to student athletes under the direction of the team provider and the Sports Medicine Medical Director. The role includes game coverage, injury assessment, treatment, and coordination with families, coaches, and medical staff.

The incumbent will design and implement prevention and conditioning programs, manage injury documentation, and ensure adherence to concussion management protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health-related field is required.
• NATA certification is required.
• Nebraska state license or eligibility within 3 months from hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training services to student athletes under the direction of the team provider.
• Provide game/contest coverage and injury tracking for athletes at assigned schools/facilities.
• Develop and implement pre-season, in-season, and post-season conditioning programs.
• Review pre-game and practice taping and provide safety recommendations.
• Refer athletes for diagnostic procedures and maintain injury records.
