Job summary

Bryan College Of Health Sciences is seeking an athletic trainer to provide student-athlete care under the direction of the team provider and Medical Director. This role includes game coverage, injury assessment, and implementing preventative programs across assigned schools/facilities.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field, NATA certification, Nebraska license eligibility within 3 months, and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field required.
• NATA certification required.
• Current Nebraska state license or eligibility to apply within 3 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides athletic training services and game/contest coverage for student athletes.
• Designs and implements preventative injury programs and conditioning plans.
• Acts as liaison between families, medical staff, coaches and school personnel.
• Provides immediate care and follows concussion management protocols.
• Maintains accurate injury records and supports insurance documentation.
• Schedules treatments and adjusts plans with treating providers.
• Participates in meetings and departmental projects.
