Position Overview

Pivot Onsite Innovations has an immediate need for an experienced and passionate Industrial Athletic Trainer at our client’s site in a PRN role. This position offers an opportunity to work at a dynamic worksite and make an impact on employee health, wellness, and safety!

Work Schedule: M-F 8am-4pm (PRN coverage as needed)

Job Summary

The Industrial Athletic Trainer will develop and oversee injury management and health programs at the worksite, focusing on injury prevention, ergonomic assessments, OSHA emergency/first aid, health education, and wellness activities.

Position Responsibilities

• Conduct wellness assessments and ergonomic risk analyses
• Create and implement site-specific wellness and ergonomic programs
• Provide first-aid and manage musculoskeletal complaints using appropriate techniques
• Perform orthopedic injury assessments and participate in injury prevention education
• Coordinate treatment plans involving therapeutic exercises and work conditioning
• Analyze data and handle administrative tasks such as documentation and reporting
• Foster a trustful environment encouraging injury prevention responsibility among workers
• Communicate with safety personnel and advocate for injured employees
• Attend meetings and contribute to newsletters and intranet content
• May require proof of COVID-19 vaccination

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• Board of Certification (BOC) certification
• State licensure/certification
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification
• Willingness to travel to client sites
• Strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years of athletic training experience
• Knowledge of OSHA recordability and worker’s compensation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience in ergonomics/occupational health
• CEAS/OSHA10 certification
