Position Overview

Pivot Onsite Innovations has an immediate need for an experienced and passionate Industrial Athletic Trainer at our client’s site in a PRN role. This position offers an opportunity to work at a dynamic worksite and make an impact on employee health, wellness, and safety!

Potential Coverage Hours/Clinic Hours: Mon-Thurs 1PM-11PM

Job Summary

The Industrial Athletic Trainer will plan, coordinate, and supervise all components of a worksite injury management and health improvement program for employees. Responsibilities include injury prevention, evaluation, ergonomic risk assessments, OSHA emergency/first aid treatment, health education, and worksite health promotion.

Position Responsibilities

• Perform wellness assessments and ergonomic risk analyses
• Develop and implement site-specific wellness initiatives
• Design ergonomic interventions using innovative solutions and employee empowerment
• Provide first-aid treatment and management for musculoskeletal complaints
• Coordinate treatment plans including therapeutic exercises and work conditioning
• Analyze data and handle administrative tasks such as documentation and reporting
• Create a trustful environment promoting injury reduction
• Communicate with safety personnel and advocate for employees
• Attend meetings and serve on committees
• Optionally, author articles for newsletters and intranet
• Position may require proof of COVID-19 vaccination

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• Board of Certification (BOC) certification
• State licensure/certification
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification
• Willingness to travel to various locations
• Strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of athletic training experience
• Knowledge of OSHA Recordability and workers' compensation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Experience in ergonomic/occupational health
• CEAS/OSHA10 certification
