Position Overview

Pivot Onsite Innovations seeks an experienced and passionate Industrial Athletic Trainer at our client’s site in St. Louis in a PRN role (as needed). This position offers an opportunity to work at a dynamic worksite and make an impact on employee health, wellness, and safety!

Clinic Hours: Monday - Friday 7:45AM - 3:45PM

Job Summary

The Industrial Athletic Trainer will develop and oversee worksite injury management and health improvement programs, focusing on injury prevention, ergonomic assessments, OSHA emergency/first aid, health education, and worksite health promotion.

Responsibilities

• Conduct wellness assessments and ergonomic risk analyses.
• Create and implement wellness initiatives and ergonomic interventions.
• Provide first-aid and manage musculoskeletal complaints using various techniques.
• Assess orthopedic injuries and participate in injury prevention education.
• Coordinate treatment plans including therapeutic exercises and modalities.
• Analyze data, complete administrative tasks, and generate reports.
• Foster a trustful environment encouraging injury prevention responsibility.
• Communicate with safety personnel and advocate for injured workers.
• Attend meetings, serve on committees, and contribute to company communications.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Board Certification (BOC).
• State licensure/certification.
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
• Willingness to travel.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least two years of athletic training experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA recordability and workers’ compensation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in ergonomic or occupational health.
• CEAS/OSHA10 certification.
