Job summary

Gillette Physical Therapy in Gillette, Wyoming is seeking a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer to join an experienced team of ATCs working with a highly reputable Physical Therapy group. Hiring immediately for Fall season.

The role provides outreach AT services to Campbell County high schools and may cover college rodeo, NA3HL, or Wyoming Mustangs games, with in-house collaboration on weeks with fewer high school events.

Qualifications

• BOC Certified Athletic Trainer.
• Current CPR/First Aid/ AED Certification.
• Eligibility for Wyoming licensure.
• Effective organization and documentation skills.
• Effective decision-making and interpersonal skill.
• Familiarity with Athletic Trainer System documentation (preferred).
• Experience with concussion testing (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Identify, manage, and rehabilitate athletic injuries of athletes.
• Provide on-site coverage of athletic team practices and events.
• Develop professional contacts with referring physicians, coaches, and other referral sources.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists in treatment of sports-specific and orthopedic conditions.
• Refer to appropriate physician for diagnostic or surgical intervention.
• Provide oversight and management of concussion testing as needed.
• Participate as an active provider in athletic injury clinic.
