Job summary

Athletico at Dike-New Hartford High School in Dike, IA seeks a full-time Associate Athletic Trainer to support athletes with evaluation, prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation. You will work with medical staff, athletic directors, coaches, and players to plan and meet athlete goals.

Requirements include CAATE-accredited education, BOC certification, state licensure, CPR/First Aid, and a valid driver’s license; benefits are included with the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited CAATE program.
• BOC certification and state licensure where the work location is.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license for travel to athletic sites.
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Apply protective devices such as tape, bandages, and braces.
• Evaluate injuries and provide first aid or emergency care.
• Develop rehabilitation programs and prevention plans for athletes.
• Maintain accurate injury records and document treatment per protocols.
• Communicate progress and available Athletico services with partners.
