The Athletic Training Room, LLC | Des Moines, IA | Full-time, On-site
The Athletic Training Room, LLC is a sports medicine practice serving the Des Moines area. We provide comprehensive care to athletes and active individuals through direct patient services and outreach athletic training programs for high schools and youth sports organizations across Iowa.
We're seeking a full-time Athletic Trainer to work with a semi-professional team, a local high school, and youth sports organizations. This role offers a dynamic schedule that varies by season, including some evenings and weekends. Off-season hours are flexible with options for remote work or clinic-based responsibilities.
- Provide injury prevention, evaluation, and immediate care
- Develop and implement customized rehabilitation plans
- Design and execute strength and conditioning programs
- Educate athletes and clients on injury prevention techniques
- Support athlete recovery and performance optimization
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field (Master's preferred)
- Board of Certification (BOC) certification
- Valid Iowa Athletic Trainer license
- Strong expertise in injury prevention and rehabilitation
- Experience developing strength and conditioning programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Salary: $50,000 - $52,500 annually, based on experience
