Select Physical Therapy in Des Moines, IA is seeking a passionate Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to support Des Moines Public Schools and their student athletes. This full-time role provides care, coordination, and access to healthcare resources.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in athletic training, NATA-BOC certification, CPR, and a valid state license; CPR is required. The position offers a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits including PTO and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• BS in athletic training or related field completed.
• Current NATA-BOC certification and licensure as required.
• CPR certification and state license where required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement rehabilitation programs for injured athletes.
• Conduct on-site care during games and practices and monitor athletes.
• Assess injuries and determine need for EMS and acute care procedures.
• Coordinate access to medical providers for student-athletes.
• Promote outreach and education for injury prevention.
