Job summary

Cognito Systems, a Mentor-Protege Joint Venture with QuarterLine/Resolution Think, seeks an Athletic Trainer to support the Army’s H2F program at Ft. Huachuca near Sierra Vista, AZ. You’ll join an interdisciplinary team delivering prevention, acute care, and rehab to enhance soldier readiness and performance.

The role emphasizes hands-on care, data-driven outcomes, and collaboration with PTs, coaches, and cognitive performance experts. Requires CAATE-accredited education and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from CAATE-accredited program.
• Passing score from the BOC for Athletic Trainer.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Unrestricted state license/registration/certification in any US state, DC, PR, Guam or USVI.
• Ability to obtain in-state licensure during onboarding.
• U.S. Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a diverse team including PTs, strength coaches, dietitians, and others.
• Provide prevention-focused care, acute injury management, and rehab for MSK injuries.
• Apply performance optimization addressing the five H2F readiness domains.
• Support unit leaders with evidence-based injury reduction and recovery strategies.
• Use CIMT tools to track and improve performance outcomes.
• Improve soldier performance, ACFT pass rates, and resilience across units.
