Job summary

STAR Physical Therapy is seeking an Athletic Trainer to deliver sports medicine services at schools and community events across the region. You will also assist in clinics under a supervising Physical Therapist, guiding rehab exercises and treatments.

You’ll educate patients and families on prevention strategies, liaise with coaches and physicians, and ensure compliance with state regulations. A collaborative, patient‑centered team culture awaits.

Qualifications

• Must be NATABOC certified and licensed in the state of practice.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to work autonomously in clinics and outreach settings.
• Proficient with EMR and basic software tools.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide sports medicine services at schools and community events.
• Assist in the clinic under a Physical Therapist’s supervision, administering treatments and rehab exercises.
• Educate patients and families on injury prevention and rehabilitation.
• Serve as liaison between coaches, athletes, parents and physicians.
• Maintain compliance with state laws and practice guidelines for Athletic Trainers.
• Support a positive team environment in clinic and outreach settings.
• Keep treatment areas, equipment, and supplies clean and organized.
