Job summary

Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking an Athletic Trainer to join a growing healthcare team in Wisconsin. The role offers both full-time and PRN scheduling, with opportunities to work with athletes, students, and orthopedic providers in a dynamic setting.

The position includes coverage of events, potential evenings/weekends/holidays, and a competitive salary. Requirements include a Wisconsin AT license (or ability to obtain), BOC certification, BLS, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.
• BOC Certification and Wisconsin Athletic Trainer license required.
• Current BLS certification and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic event and after-school activity coverage.
• Evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate athletic injuries.
• Perform concussion assessments and oversee return-to-play protocols.
• Educate athletes, parents, and coaches on injury management.
• Document evaluations and treatment plans.
• Assist with occupational health services and return-to-work assessments.
• Support orthopaedic providers in a clinic setting.
