Job summary

OrthoNebraska is seeking an Athletic Trainer – Performance Testing Specialist to provide objective testing and outcomes reporting to support evidence-based rehabilitation. You will collaborate with physicians, therapists, and sports performance staff to improve patient outcomes and safely return patients to activity.

The role requires Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) with preferred NATA BOC certification and BLS.

Qualifications

• Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) or related field required.
• NATA BOC certification preferred; BLS within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs objective strength, movement and functional performance assessments using approved testing technologies.
• Analyzes movement patterns and performance data to identify impairments and opportunities for improvement.
• Generates detailed reports with actionable recommendations to patients and providers, coordinating care to improve outcomes.
• Supports rehabilitation progression and return-to-sport decisions through objective testing and outcomes measurement.
• Contributes to research, data collection and outcomes tracking.
