Job summary

Kenyon College invites applications for the position of Assistant Athletic Trainer. This is a full-time, 10-month reporting position with benefits.

The Assistant supports the Head Athletic Trainer in prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries for 23 Division III sports on a residential campus. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and BOC certification with eligibility for Ohio licensure; NATA certification is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in athletic training or related field.
• BOC certification or eligibility with Ohio licensure.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• NATA certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Athletic Trainer with prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries.
• Maintain communications with staff, students, and parents/guardians.
• Travel with sports teams as directed and work varied hours.
• Maintain BOC certification and Ohio licensure; complete CEUs as required.
