Job summary

LMR Technical Group seeks an Athletic Trainer to support US Air Force fighter squadrons at Joint Base Langley - Eustis, VA. The AT will provide musculoskeletal care, injury prevention, rehabilitation, and human performance optimization under OHWS, enhancing aircrew readiness and longevity.

Qualifications

• CAATE-accredited Athletic Training Education Program and Master’s degree in related discipline.
• BOC certification required.
• Current CPR/AED certification required.
• 2+ years of experience as a Licensed Athletic Trainer in relevant settings; recency within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Assess, evaluate, and manage MSK and neuromuscular conditions; provide targeted interventions.
• Instruct aircrew on rehabilitation, prevention strategies, and performance techniques.
• Conduct in-processing and ongoing assessments for aircrew; screen for injury risk factors.
• Document assessments and treatments in EHR and OHWS data systems within 72 hours; ensure DHA guideline compliance.
• Attend unit/MTF meetings and educate aircrew on injury prevention and self-rehabilitation.
• Maintain equipment and training facilities; report unserviceable items; recommend improvements.
