Job summary

Novant Health Sports Medicine is hiring a PRN Licensed Athletic Trainer to support Winston-Salem and surrounding areas. The athletic trainer must be licensed in the state and work under the supervision of a physician, following protocols written with the supervising doctor.

This role includes access to Medbridge to maintain CEUs and a retirement plan with up to 6% company match from day one. Primary duties: provide coverage for athletic events and promote health outreach in the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; graduate from an accredited athletic training program.
• Graduate degree preferred.
• Current AT licensure in appropriate state; ability to acquire additional licenses.

What We Offer

Novant Health Sports Medicine is hiring a PRN Licensed Athletic Trainer to support Winston-Salem and surrounding areas. Athletic trainers must be licensed in the appropriate state as an athletic trainer. They act under the supervision of a physician and must adhere to the protocols and guidelines as required by the licensing agency. The protocols must be written in collaboration with the supervising physician and reviewed annually.

What You'll Do

• primarily working to provide coverage forathletic events and as needed to fill in for full time team members
• access to Medbridge, an online platform providing athletic training computer based learning modules that enables athletic trainers to earn CEU’s to maintain BOC certification
• promote Novant Health through outreach and education for health and wellness in the community

What We're Looking For

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree, required. Graduate from an accredited athletic training program, required. Graduate Degree, preferred.
• Experience: 2 years, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current AT licensure in appropriate state with the ability to acquire additional state licenses as required prior to first day of employment, required. Successfully pass BOC exam, required. Hold or ability to hold AHA BLS First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certification, required. Hold or ability to hold CSCS, PES, BFR, Dry Needling or similar, preferred.
• Additional Skills Required: Excellent Customer Service, Written and Oral Communication, basic computer application skills, and ability to multitask.
