Job summary

MercyOne Genesis is hiring a Licensed Athletic Trainer to provide immediate care for athletic injuries during high school sporting events and assist with rehabilitation and conditioning plans. You will liaise with athletes, families, coaches and health care providers while supporting a 40-hour work week on day shifts.

A Bachelor's in Athletic Training, CSCS and BLS are required, with Iowa/Illinois licensure or pending licensure within six months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training is required.
• CSCS certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Iowa or Illinois state licensure (or pending); second state license within six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate care for athletic injuries during events.
• Assist physical therapists with exercise and rehabilitation programs.
• Design and implement strength and conditioning plans.

Requirements
