Description

Industrial Athletic Trainer – ProgressiveHealth Occupational Services, LLC – Queens, NY. $5,000 sign‑on/retention bonus available.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive injury prevention, injury care, assessment, and medical triage as defined by OSHA standards, including ergonomic postural education and escalation of medical care when needed.
• Conduct ergonomic assessments and support by understanding site operations, job processes, and physical demands to make recommendations that prevent serious musculoskeletal conditions.
• Maintain accurate, detailed documentation and provide continuous health improvement feedback to industrial athletes and clients.
• Produce reports with key metrics for leadership, client partners, and operations management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training.
• Required state licensure, certification, and registration in good standing with the state or ability to obtain the required state licensure.
• CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain it prior to employment; maintain proof of current certification.
• Basic knowledge of workers’ compensation and OSHA regulations preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the assigned shift.
• Ergonomic and/or occupational health experience preferred.
• High degree of professionalism in written and verbal communication.
• Independent and collaborative work capability without constant supervision.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and Microsoft Office applications.
