Job summary

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, NATABOC certification, and a commitment to professionalism and teamwork. This role offers competitive compensation, including a starting rate of $35 per hour and a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

Description

We are looking for an energetic and results-driven Industrial Athletic Trainer to provide injury prevention services onsite for a major airline carrier at the Atlanta Hartsfield‑Jackson International Airport. We strive to increase the industrial athlete’s ability to perform their job duties safely and decrease the risk of injury through intervention at the early onset of discomfort in a dynamic work environment. Compensation & Benefits

• Starting rate: $35 per hour
• $3,000 sign‑on bonus available
• Shift differential for night and weekend work

What will you be doing in this role?

• Providing proactive injury prevention, injury care, assessment, and medical triage as defined by OSHA standards, including ergonomic postural education and escalation of medical care if needed
• Coordinating and implementing rehabilitation treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercise, modalities, and work conditioning as necessary
• Providing ergonomic assessments and support by understanding the site operations, job processes, and physical demands to make ergonomic recommendations for preventing serious musculoskeletal conditions
• Keeping accurate, detailed documentation efficiently while providing feedback to the industrial athlete and client for continuous health improvements
• Understanding and providing reports with key metrics to leadership, client partners, and operations management

Our ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, or another related field and NATABOC certification
• The required state licensure, certification, and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure
• CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
• Basic knowledge of workers' compensation and OSHA regulations, preferred
• The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout entire assigned shift
• Previous ergonomic and/or occupational health experience is a plus
• A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
• The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
• Be able to maintain confidentiality
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
