East Suburban Sports Medicine Center (ESSMC) seeks an upbeat, engaging Athletic Trainer to work at a local high school. You will provide care and coverage for student‑athletes across a variety of sports.

This is a full-time, school-year contract offering a collaborative environment. You will deliver athletic training services, manage injuries, and communicate with coaches, parents, and healthcare providers, while upholding ESSMC and NATA standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum BS degree.
• BOC certified athletic trainer.
• Licensed as athletic trainer in Pennsylvania.
• CPR/AED certification.
• Act 33/34/114/168/24/84/126 clearances as required by Pennsylvania law.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive athletic training services to assigned school teams and athletes.
• Prevent, evaluate, and manage athletic injuries and conditions.
• Provide game and practice coverage as scheduled.
• Communicate effectively with coaches, parents, and healthcare providers.
• Maintain documentation consistent with ESSMC policies and procedures.
• Uphold standards outlined by NATA, BOC, PA State Practice Act, and ESSMC.

• Schedule: Full-time, school year contract. Rarely any Saturdays.

• Deliver comprehensive athletic training services to assigned school teams and athletes.
• Prevent, evaluate, and manage athletic injuries and conditions.

• Communicate effectively with coaches, parents, and healthcare providers.
• Maintain documentation consistent with ESSMC policies and procedures.

• Act 33 Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance
• Act 34 Pennsylvania Criminal History Clearance
• Act 114 FBI Clearance
• Act 168 Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Form
• Act 24 of 2011 and Act 84 of 2012 Arrest or Conviction Form
• Act 126 of 2012 Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Training
