Job summary

East Suburban Sports Medicine Center is seeking an upbeat athletic trainer to provide care and coverage for student-athletes at a local high school. You will deliver comprehensive athletic training services, prevent and manage injuries, and provide game and practice coverage.

The role requires BOC certification, PA licensure, CPR/AED, and various state/federal clearances. This is a full-time school-year contract with minimal weekend work within ESSMC's network.

Qualifications

  • BOC certification as athletic trainer required.
  • Licensed athletic trainer in Pennsylvania.
  • CPR/AED certification and ECC preferred.
  • Active Act 33/34 clearances required.
  • Act 114 FBI clearance and related forms.
  • Act 168 and Act 24/84/126 disclosures completed.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive athletic training services to assigned school teams and athletes.
  • Prevent, evaluate, and manage athletic injuries and conditions.
  • Provide game and practice coverage as scheduled.
  • Communicate effectively with coaches, parents, and healthcare providers.
  • Maintain documentation consistent with ESSMC policies and procedures.
  • Uphold the standards outlined by the NATA, BOC, PA State Practice Act, and ESSMC.

Immediate Job Opening: We are seeking an upbeat, engaging, and dedicated Athletic Trainer to work at a local high school. You will provide care and coverage for student-athletes in a variety of sports.

  • Setting:High School
  • Schedule:Full-time, school year contract. Rarely any Saturdays.

  • Act 168 Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Form
  • Act 24 of 2011 and Act 84 of 2012 Arrest or Conviction Form
