Job summary

Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance (TOA) is hiring an Athletic Trainer to serve pediatric through adult populations at area schools and community events. You will provide on-site evaluation and treatment and document all patient care on-site or at schools.

The role requires state licensure in Tennessee, NATA certification, CPR certification, and a track record of delivering high-quality athletic training services with strong communication and teamwork.

  • Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site athletic training evaluation and treatment to pediatric, adolescent, and adult populations at area schools and community events.
  • Complete and maintain all required patient documentation on site or at schools.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, be flexible to assist others, and meet productivity standards.
  • May supervise support staff or students and communicate effectively with teams.

TOA has an immediate need for an Athletic Trainer. The athletic trainer will provide on-site athletic training evaluation and treatment to a pediatric, adolescent, adult, athletic patient population at area schools and community events. The AT completes and maintains all required patient documentation on site or at schools. It is expected that the AT maintain a high customer satisfaction standard, be flexible to assist others as needed, and will meet the productivity standards. The successful candidate is expected to have excellent communication skills, and may need to supervise support staff or students.

Requirements

Among the qualifications for our Athletic Trainer:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited program in athletic training.
  • Must possess State of Tennessee licensure, and NATA certification.
  • Current certification in CPR.
  • Demonstrated success providing or supporting an exceptional school-based training program as well as patient-care in a clinical environment.
