Job summary

Arizona State University Athletics Groundskeeper is part of Sun Devil Athletics, maintaining the playing surfaces and grounds that support Division I competition. This role focuses on outdoor maintenance, debris removal, planting, mowing, and irrigation to uphold first-class athletic facilities.

The position requires a high school diploma with two years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination, and you will operate and maintain landscaping equipment within a desert environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and two years’ experience in grounds or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of safe operation and maintenance of grounds equipment and tools.
• Ability to read and follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds and roads, including planting, raking, mowing, and debris removal.
• Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment.
• Assist in maintenance of parking lots, signs, and outdoor infrastructure.
• Ensure safety and proper use of chemicals and fertilizers.
• Work with team to achieve quality and aesthetic standards.
