Job summary

ASU Mountain Home seeks a full-time Landscape and Groundskeeper to maintain our campus, performing planting, bed maintenance, soil health care, pruning, mowing, and general upkeep across outdoor spaces.

Candidates should have at least 1 year in gardening or grounds maintenance, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfort working outdoors in varying weather with basic hand tools and power equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of gardening/grounds maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Knowledge of plant care and soil health.

Responsibilities

• Plant annuals, perennials, bulbs, shrubs, and trees; swap seasonal displays.
• Maintain landscape beds: weed, deadhead, mulch.
• Amend soils, fertilize, water plants, check for pests.
• Prune and trim debris; rake leaves; keep walkways tidy.
• Mow grass: push mower in some areas; zero-turn mower in others.
• Perform other related duties as required.
