This role emphasizes learning about high-performance athletic gear from concept to market, requiring strong organizational skills, data comfort, and cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Product Design, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in product management, merchandising, marketing, or relevant internships (sporting goods/outdoor preferred).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with data and basic analytics.
• Effective communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Passion for sports, fitness, and innovative athletic equipment.
• Experience with baseball or basketball products and team sports market trends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating product briefs, specs, and documentation for new concepts; track prototypes and updates.
• Conduct basic category research, competitive scans, and trend analysis.
• Assist in managing product timelines, calendars, and milestones; coordinate samples and meetings.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales on launch materials, decks, and assets; review packaging copy.
• Other duties as assigned.
